Overview

The proxy engine that powers VX

vx-core is the proxy engine that powers VX, UmiVPN, and Nunu Accelerator. It can also be used as a standalone proxy server on any operating system.

Deployment modes

vx-core runs in different scenarios depending on the platform:

  • Server: Standalone server program
  • Client library: Embedded in VX via gomobile/c-shared bindings

We recommend using the VX client to install and configure vx-core on a VPS. The client provides a graphical interface for deploying servers over SSH, editing configuration, and monitoring.

For manual server deployment, see Quick Start.
